Social media platforms and websites are used to promote a product or service for a cost benefit to the company. Other methods of social media Traditional Marketing has a specific target audience that was researched and planned. The company uses the opportunity to pay to show their ads with interrupted marketing. Social Media Marketing is planned as well but is not towards a specific audience. I believe that it can be a tricky since there are many rules when it comes to posting in SMM.
Social Media Marketers need to adhere to the requirements of ethics, and to regulations. The Marketing styles per company vary and all have an ultimate goal which is to gain a loyal customer to the brand, company, service or to the product itself. Social Media now a days has advanced per objective and is increasing with time. Either companies will have to start paying more for customers to see their ads or customers will have more control of what they want to see by paying of course.
